The New Wave is here.

An irreverant look at politics, pop culture and powerful women, the New Wave is a different kind of feminism. Here to give a voice to the next generation of young Irish feminists, we want to inspire young women not to be afraid of the F word.

    Hi there,

I reallllly like your blog. I love to read about feminism in Ireland.
I’m a member of the organizing committee of Endangered Species, an event that will bring together people interested in challenging the culture that teaches girls and women to hate their own bodies. The dedicated event website isn’t up and running yet but you can get more info on the any-body site. Currently we are gathering proposals for talks, performances, artwork and any other contribution that sounds exciting and relevant. The event will take place in London, but I really want to showcase what is being done in Ireland and to get the Irish media and politicians to think about what needs to be done.

I’d really love to hear any suggestions or ideas you might have.

    Keep up the great work!
